Yup soul food! The whole meal basically consisted of baked beans, corn bread, and tons of fried chicken, basically all banned food from PCP. Take that Patrick! I would like to say I got kind of bloated and suffered a little bit of food coma afterwards, and that did happen, but... I really enjoyed the meal. I didn't even know I miss fried chicken! Not that I mind the PCP diet but having those crispy fried wings in my mouth was just... divine.
After these three indulgences, really not sure what I took out of them. These things I know for sure:
- I definitely enjoyed every one of them. Seems like some other PCPers got sick or didn't terribly enjoy it hence getting the correct message but I just enjoyed every last moments of them.
- Tasty but inherently unhealthy food (one of my coworker estimated the meal at 2000 cal!) are unfortunately just too good to give up on! Probably won't be Bruce Lee this way but then I want to enjoy life too.
- Spacing these "indulgences" out helps. Probably haven't enjoyed fried chicken this much while previously I could eat them all the time... Also because I have been keeping up with diet and exercises consistently didn't actually feel particularly guilty about the food either, since I'm sure it will burn off in a few days.
For some reason I think I've been enjoying jumpropes the last few days (never thought I would say that). Even managed to break the 2000 mark today doing the 3x6 sets which really made me happy! Shudder to think how bad I was at doing this in the beginning.
