Day 88 - Random thoughts

Holy crap I only have a few days left!! Just some random thoughts that didn't get posted before here:

  • Favorite food: Egg sandwich with tomatoes, avocado, shallots, lime juice, and a little black pepper. This is seriously the divine breakfast and turned me into a breakfast believer! I know variety is key but this fast, easy, and absolutely delicious meal helped me get through many rushed mornings while feeling good and satisfied. (incidentally reading through my sister's blog seems like she's mentioning the same thing. Runs in the family?)
  • Favorite food that's banned in PCP: There are so many I don't even know where to begin! I'm enjoying the PCP diet but there are some food that I'm craving: dim sum, pizza (the good ones), ice cream, chocolate/mocha, any food cooked in butter, etc.
  • Weather: I'm so glad I'm living in the Bay Area! Never been too appreciative towards the cool weather but it's perfect for jumprope. It seriously hasn't rained once during my jumprope sessions. People in Hong Kong, you have my sympathies for working out in the summer. I know how humid and hot it can get there.
  • Body: Pretty satisfied so far (especially looking at it from Day 1) but room for improvements still. That's good motivation to not slack post-PCP!
  • Things to do:
    • Sleep! That's actually the hardest part of PCP for me so far. Just getting everything done is time consuming!
    • Catch up on "work" aka video games
    • Buy more new clothes. Even the jeans I bought few weeks ago feel a little loose :) / :(
    • Find something athletic to do. Martial arts maybe? That said skiing season is coming soon will probably get to test my new post-PCP physique!
    • Eat and socialize! Not being able to eat out and having to worry about every meal being compliant is honest quite stressful. Now I can just sit back, chill, and hang out with friends without having to worry about whether I'm breaking diet or not.
    • Sit back and relax... Patrick is right in that the constant exercises keep us from feeling down or depressed, but they really didn't prevent me from feeling stressed! The extra free time will feel quite good I'm sure.
Alright got to go to bed it's late. Can't believe it's almost done!
