Made a stupid mistake today. As I mentioned last time I hurt my knee and has been swimming instead of jumping ropes. It's been going fine but it does take a lot more time to get the same results (even then I still feel that jumping ropes burns more energy) and I feel like I'm falling behind in my jump rope skills. Today my knee was feeling not too bad and I decided to try out jump rope today. I was already trying to be gentle on the right knee and trying to just jump using my left leg, but quarter to half way through the pain just slowly sneaked in and I knew I had to stop. Really hope I didn't re-injure it!
My right knee, come on it's been a week! I know you are a joint and all but can't you try to be like your buddy muscle and recover fast for once?
Anyway for the next few days probably stuck swimming again. Will try to be absolutely sure my knee is fine before I skip again even that means sacrificing some progress. Anyone wants to do a swim-off instead of skip-off?
P.S. for some reason my knee doesn't hurt doing all the leg exercises. It's only the jumping that hurts it. Weird.
