Day 12-13: Time!

As others have pointed out, PCP takes up a lot of time! A normal weekday's schedule is basically wake up, jump rope, breakfast, drive to work (and snack on fruits), work, dinner, workout, sleep. I guess part of the reason why it takes so much time is that I've been stubbornly cooking every meal every night, which just simply takes too much time. Starting next week may just give in and start to cook up a batch of vegetables, carbs, and meat so I don't have to cook every night. May reserve one or two days (probably the weekends) as the "fancy food" days where I actually try to whip up something nice instead of steamed vegetables + bread + grilled chicken breast.

Speaking of food I broke my PCP diet for the first time today because I left my lunch at home. Went out to have Chinese food with my coworkers and man the beef noodle soup was salty (and probably loaded with MSG)! Spent the rest of the day irritated probably because I was still annoyed at myself for leaving my lunch at home and missing my afternoon fruit snack... Maybe our metabolism has indeed been increased but I was really hungry when I got home and had to immediately grab my snack portion of fruits before dinner.

Still have mild issues with sleeping in that I'm waking up earlier than planned but I'm still really tired. Not worrying too much about it yet. I imagine it's similar to jetlag where my body is adjusting to a new schedule and lifestyle.
