Fortunately skipping ropes were a lot better than yesterday. Still tripping a lot but at least I could do 10-20 skips before tripping myself, instead of literally tripping every other step. Took a look at my rope too and I think it was too long (apparently they are supposed to just go up to your armpits?) so may do some adjustments. I'm still definitely horrible at skipping ropes though. Somehow I have a lot of troubles just getting started and tend to trip in the first few skips. Once I get started I tend to be able to keep up with the rhythm.
Food was not too bad either. Half portion is not as bad as I thought but I can definitely feel the hunger and this constant feeling that I should eat. I cooked a whole meal in the morning and split it into lunch and dinner to make sure I couldn't cheat and eat more than I should (since stealing more food for lunch means less for dinner!). Decided to grill some delicious short ribs marinated in soy sauce (i.e. salt) and sugar, i.e. food I will be sure to miss in a week when we start our full diet!
Just weighed today. 76 kg/168 lbs with 19.9% body fat (aka 20% for the honest folks). Will be interesting to see what the final result will be!
Hahaha keep it up keep it up yo!
ReplyDeleteWhat rope are you using? Actually makes a big difference. Darn I should have given you my Altus speed rope when you were in HK - I really liked it but it was too long, would be perfect for you.
Using Harbinger 331200 Trigger Handle 10-Foot Adjustable PVC Jump Rope that I bought from Amazon. It got ok reviews so I'm not sure if it's just me sucking.
