It's Thursday which means rest day with only jump ropes! Did my jumping in the morning and went to work glad that I would have my whole evening to myself without having to worry about exercises haha. Took a look at next week's exercises and seems like we're going to do pull-ups now. Will see how that goes...
Have to say I felt a little anti-social today when after watching a movie with friends they decided to go get pizza and I had to be that guy who just went home instead of hanging out with them at dinner. I guess I could try to eat out and maintain the PCP diet but I really doubt you can weigh your own food and get salt-free and oil-free food in a pizza joint. Just curious has other PCPers eaten out much and how has the experience been?
By the way if you are looking for an easy way to cook moist chicken breasts, one of my favorite method is to season them a little bit and maybe throw a few sprigs of thyme on top, then wrap the piece up in aluminum foil or parchment paper and then bake for about 15 minutes in the oven (425F / 220C). This usually has a high margin of error and comes out tasting pretty tender as well.
When dining out, I choose to eat either salad or request steamed vegetables. However, if i was faced with a lack of choice, i would probably refrain all togther
ReplyDeleteSince the diet I have eaten out only once. I ate 2 spring rolls with shrimp avocado 2 tiny Japanese size pita with lettuce and tuna and some seafood salad. Last night went out with a friend walking around Downtown Okinawa and the smells were killing me. I swear those smells can be used as aroma therapy. Stimulates my whole body!
ReplyDeleteI have set 3 months aside to stick to this so not working really go out during the day, bring my bentos, go down to the boat or check on how my new house is coming along then head home cook, read and watch a bit of TV. I think I'll go out maybe once in 2 weeks in the evenings or surely I'll break and have a beer and a burger. Haha
Looks like some good chicken their mate...fess up...are you really one of those celebrity chefs YeeCheng?
ReplyDeleteI wish. Then I would have a legitimate reason to have a belly (no offense to professional chefs!)
