Since we all have to pick something to indulge in this week I decided to go for a beer. It was just at a right time as there was a work-related event and I could actually booze up. It... honestly didn't taste any different than before though. Maybe it's not exactly my favorite thing in the world and I don't really have a craving for it, so it wasn't exactly an indulgence. The bubbles were definitely irking me a little bit though.
The real issue came after I got home. I did my grocery shopping, was going to cook for the next day's lunch and then work out, and somehow (maybe because of the beer) just felt really tired and took a "short rest" on my bed. Yeah you can see where that's going. Ended up sleeping through and missing the strength training exercises. Definitely felt a little guilty today after I woke up as it's the first time I've skipped anything in PCP. Let's just blame the beer and hope it won't happen again! If I skip something I would rather make a conscious decision rather than sleeping through it!
(Anyone who has known me for a while reading this blog would be quick to point out that I have long had a habit to take a "short rest" on the bed, oh well)

haha its ok, i have that pattern too. like the skipping ineptness, it must run in the family.
