Started out in a warm sunny day, had half a hot dog, and biked across the city and eventually across the bridge and at Sausalito. This is not a terribly strenuous bike ride but I was already a little sore from the PCP exercises. On the uphill sections I could definitely feel some burn on my legs and had to slow down a little bit. Still, we somehow managed to get all the way through across the bay to Sausalito and had a nice dinner. Ok here I'll admit to having a whole plate of pasta... That said I did manage to pass up on numerous temptations from my friends:
A second grass-fed pure beef hot dog:
Nice cold ice cream when it was still sunny:
Not to mention chips and other snacks...
After our dinner unfortunately there were too many bikers taking the ferry home (it's a holiday weekend here at US after all) we managed to miss the ferry and had to wait for another one which came at around 9:40pm. By the time I got back home it was already around 11:30pm. I hurried to the nearby park to do my skip ropes and man did it suck! Maybe I was just tired of biking around the whole day or it was just late, I was just not in good condition at all. Good news was I was getting better at skipping ropes (adjusting the length helped) and could skip 20+ times without tripping but I was just running out of breath quickly. The exercises after seemed harder than usual as well...
That said I have to say I can see the power of PCP now. Usually even if I made up my mind to exercise more there's no way in hell I would go out and do cardio after a long day. I would just take a shower, sit down on my couch and either play some video games or watch TV. Somehow knowing everyone is doing this made me feel almost obligated to live up my responsibilities.

Anyway it's late and I'm dead tired. Sure to enjoy a nice sleep!
